The Narrative - a scenario for ZERO FATE

Welcome to Zerocity -  a hyperreal European city, possibly in a parallel universe, possibly in the 1990s. Zerocity is a breeding ground for high tech companies, conspiracy theories, alien visitors, fictional characters come to life, gangland warfare, deranged scientists, avant garde creatives, parallel reality incursions, and general strangeness.

The PCs work as ZERO franchisees, taking on missions which official agencies ignore, refuse, or deny the existence of. Their latest opportunity is to help a woman whose daughter seems to have...changed. Along the way they'll get entangled in plots involving weird artefacts, shifting realities, Mrs. Hostile's safari park, bleeding edge VR simulation, and a pet bereavement counselling service run by Dr. Love.

This project contains a full-length FATE scenario, a Fate Accelerated rules variant I used to run it (ZERO FATE), a character sheet for ZERO FATE and some pregen characters, plus the rules for OWT, an OSR-style Troika!-like RPG used to run the VR sequence in the scenario. All are released under a CC BY 4.0 International licence.
